Celadon Dental Studio is a new, Calgary-based, dental lab led by Cristina Ursan (DT, CDT).
Cristina has over 40 years of intensive experience as a qualified dental technician:
She began her career in dentistry in 1986 after attending “Victor Babeş”” Medical College in
Bucharest, and graduating with a “Dental Technologist” Licence Diploma.
For the first 11 years Cristina worked in the dental lab belonging to the Romanian Railways
Clinic. After that, she joined a highly recognized private dental lab — Dentaco — and for
another 7 years distinguished herself as a team leader in the ceramic department.
In 2003 Cristina and her family immigrated to Canada setting their roots in Calgary, Alberta,
where, in short time, she was recruited by Prowest. Here she perfected her already impressive
skills while working with Master Kim Yeal Chang. (Prowest Dental Lab from Calgary is
one of many labs affiliated with Hornbrook Group — accredited by AACD — The American
Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry).
For the past 5 years, Cristina managed the quality assurance of the porcelain department
in Complete Dental Ceramics, a well-known Calgary Dental lab.
Cristina has a strong track-record of delivering excellent results. She sets high standards
for all her work and impresses her clientele with her dedication to the profession, attention
to detail, and work ethic.
