Celadon_logoWe recognize that every practice is different and every dentist is unique. We will take the time to listen to casework problems.

A good dental care is delivered by a team and restorative treatment is enhance by communication between team members, dentist and the laboratory technician.

This connection is vital not only for efficient workflow but also for making sure patients receive the best treatment.
Our lab is striving toward zero remakes. All cases are inspected and they receive our full attention, passes quality check during fabrication and before shipping.
In an effort to better serve you, we are sharing some important information that will help ensure each case fits just right:
  • Learning to work as an equal partner with our dentists, their clinical assistants and their front desk office, trusting each other and together creating beauty.
  • Receiving impressions from our dentists that will allow us to pour impressions 3 times for:
    • Working model
    • Die model
    • Uncut model
  • Inspecting the poured model as quickly as possible and call the dentist immediately if the model is unclear and a new impression or change of prep is needed.
  • Marginal integrity plays a big role in our lab. From the initial pour of the impression, trimming and waxing the dies, we ensure that every step is taken accurately using the microscope so all our crown’s margins have a precise fit.
  • Importance of stump shades determination:
Shades of prepared teeth vary so greatly and play a critical role in determine the final appearance of an all-ceramic crown.
This will allow our ceramist to best determine the ingot shade and if different ingots will be needed for different teeth. This will also allow the ceramist to properly adjust the staining and colour modification during the fabrication.
If you do not have a stump shade guide please, provide the closest Vita Shade match of the preparation.
Please remember to take the stump shade right after you are finished prepping before the tooth is dehydrated.
